Welcome to the Moast newsletter. We spend the week collecting news, trends, and other content that we think would be interesting to e-commerce founders and CMOs. Our goal is to provide value without sounding like a promo for our app. Helpful wether you use Moast or not.
Apple just reclaimed its spot as the world's most valuable company, passing Nvidia on Friday at $4.9 trillion to $4.8 trillion. The interesting part isn't the number, it's the rotation behind it: Wall Street is cooling on the companies at the center of the AI buildout, and the "AI laggard" is suddenly back on top. Two years of narrative, flipped in one trading session.
Here's what else caught our attention this week 👇
1/ DTC Headlines
Stripe just made a $53 billion offer to take PayPal private
-> The joint bid with Advent International is $60.50 per share, a 28% premium, backed by roughly $50B in bank financing.
-> If it closes, Stripe would own the payment stack's past and present in one company.
-> It's one of the largest take-private offers in tech history, and it's aimed squarely at your checkout page.

3/ What We Found Interesting
Levi's growth story is secretly an ERP story
-> The 19% e-commerce growth sits on top of very unglamorous work: one global ERP, migrated region by region.
-> Asia and Beyond Yoga just moved onto the platform, with Europe and LatAm on track for mid-2027.
-> The lesson: DTC scale and AI both sit on unified data. Plumbing first, magic second.
Why Levi's DTC push is really an infrastructure project →
